Ireland: Dramatic Sky

When I first got my camera, Steve would look out the window at a beautiful sunny day and would try to talk me into accompanying him on his latest shenanigans with the promise that I could take pictures. And I would usually say eh, because it’s just so boring. My favorite time to take photographs is right before or after a storm, when the sky is heavy with clouds, adding texture and drama to any landscape. I took this photo out of the car as it was moving. The perspective and movement are interesting but I think overall it would have been quite dull if it wasn’t for the sense of drama and foreboding that the storm clouds create.
