Ireland: Silhouette

I am obsessed with silhouettes in photographs precisely because they often don’t look like photographs. Stripped of the depth and angles and light that usually make a photo interesting, this photograph turns a very three-dimensional scene flat and forces you to focus only on the very basic shapes (rectangle, circle, line) that make it up.
