Today! Today I went to the doctor’s office. I told her my head felt full, so full it might just fall off my neck if I let my guard down (her answer? Well haha actually it really is that full! Also let’s talk about your poor, poor sinuses). And so today I’d like to write about when life is horribly dull, the days when the only thing you manage to do is drag yourself to the doctor (or watch Gossip Girl before falling into bed, or order Thai food before falling into bed…you get the idea).

And I think this is why mothers exist. So someone cares about the maddeningly dull details, calls you and wants to know what the doctor said and what kind of soup you ate and how is your neck feeling? Who loves you even when you look like this deranged cow (not saying I currently look like this)(okay, so I totally look like this). Who loves to hear about your day, every day, even when all you have to say is that there were totally free donuts in the office kitchen, SCORE!

So thanks Mama, for loving a face that only a mother could love (please see above. ahem.).
