Colony Hotel

My favorite thing about South Beach was the art deco hotels. Well actually just the signs. I love typography (did I just out myself as a huge dork right there?) and the combination of interesting lettering and bright neon made me a very happy photographer(/dork). I’m not usually into on-the-fly night photography because without a tripod the lighting is never enough to make clear crisp images, but South Beach was so well lit that I got some fantastic shots in the dead of night.
