Overexposed


This was my first shot when we started our drive around Lake Tahoe. I made the classic mistake of forgetting to check my settings, which were still set from late the night before, leaving this shot completely overexposed. I changed the settings and moved on, shooting a bunch more. But when I pulled them off my camera today and saw this one first, I liked it immediately. My mistake gives it a monochromatic, otherwordly quality that feels fresh to me.
