I came home this weekend and went to hook up Bodhi’s lead so he could run around outside and saw this! Anemones in my backyard! I’m ashamed to say I had no idea that artichokes even flowered, let alone flowered like this!

I spent a long time watching the bees fly in and out of the tentacles and the ants marching up the side in a determined line. This little bee was my favorite, because I kept trying to take his picture, and he kept mooning me.

Well fine little bee, now your naked bum is all over the internet. Happy?
