Why I love California


Shelled peas and fresh asparagus tossed in a hot skillet until bright green. Thrown together with strawberries and mixed greens. All from a farm about an hour away. Crumbles of goat cheese, black pepper, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

I want to print this out and put it in my wallet so when people ask me how I’m liking life in California, I can pull it out and end the conversation.
