In the weeks leading up to our wedding, our neighbors started fostering three kittens for a local shelter. They got them when they were less than three weeks old.

Whenever I was feeling stressed out or like I had too much wedding stuff to do, I would walk over and kidnap them, carrying them home in an orange milk crate.

Have you ever tried to do anything when there are three kittens running around your house?

It’s impossible.

So instead, I would lay on the floor and watch them chase string and each other’s tails.

We watched to see them all interact with Bodhi. See, we’d thought about getting a kitten for awhile.

It became clear pretty immediately that this little guy is ours. No really. As soon as he’s officially adoptable, he’s coming home with us for keeps.

Until then, he’s been having sleepovers at our house and chasing Bodhi’s tail. We already miss him when he’s not here.

I mean, really.

I can’t even take the cuteness.
